Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — Panic broke out in Nandor (Nandur) village in the Tank district on Friday evening when armed militants opened fire during a local volleyball tournament, injuring several spectators and players.

The attack occurred during a village sports gathering attended by both elders and local youth. Armed assailants opened fire without warning into the crowd, causing spectators to scramble for safety as gunshots echoed through the venue.
According to preliminary local police reports, at least four civilians sustained injuries and were evacuated to nearby medical facilities for treatment. Security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and initiated search operations to apprehend the attackers.

This shooting follows a major terrorist assault in the Manjikhel area of Tank district, where a joint security checkpost was targeted. In that clash, 15 security personnel and officials were martyred, and 12 militants were neutralized by security forces.
